Message From Our Scholarship Chair

As the new Scholarship Chair for the Amazing Alpha Mu Sigma Chapter, I am honored to promote our commitment to academic excellence and professional growth within the Winston-Salem community. Seven young educators came together in 1922 to form our illustrious sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., with the goal of creating opportunities for future generations to reach their full potential. With this in mind, here at the Twin City Chapter, we believe in the importance of educating young women to support them in achieving their dreams and making a GREATER impact on the world.

To honor the amazing women who made AMS what it is today, we proudly offer a variety of scholarship opportunities that recognize the hard work and dedication of young women in our community as they pursue academia. These scholarships not only provide financial assistance, but also encourage young women to strive for academic excellence and become servant leaders within their community.

I encourage the young women in our community to take a look into these opportunities and also support each other in our educational pursuits. Together, we can foster an environment that values learning, knowledge, growth, and of course, sisterhood.
