Are you a female graduating senior in Forsyth or Guilford County planning to pursue a college degree? The Naomi Jones Scholarship Fund offers $500 to assist with your college costs!
Eligibility:
- Female graduating senior
- Resident of Forsyth or Guilford County
- Planning to enroll in a two- or four-year college
- Minimum unweighted GPA of 2.5
- Proof of college acceptance
Community service involvement is also considered, so highlight your volunteer work!
2024-25 Scholarship Recipient
It is with great pride and excitement that we announce Dazhia as the recipient of the 2024-25 Naomi Jones Scholarship. After a highly competitive process, Dazhia stood out as an outstanding young woman whose academic achievements, leadership, and community involvement truly embody the spirit of the Naomi Jones Fund.
Dazhia is a proud graduate of Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem, NC, where she served as KEDDFEST Co-chair, participated in her church’s youth and praise teams, contributed to the praise dance team, and was crowned Ms. Spartan 2024. She also earned her associate’s degree from Forsyth Technical Community College right after high school—an incredible testament to her dedication and academic excellence.
This fall, Dazhia will be attending Winston Salem State University, and we have no doubt she will continue to inspire and make a positive impact in her community and beyond.
