On behalf of the Alpha Mu Sigma Winston-Salem Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, welcome to our site!

With 2022 being the year-long celebration of our Centennial, we are reflective and grateful for our 7 founders, our pearls who laid the foundation for us!  Their courageous actions have afforded us the distinct privilege to celebrate 100 years of true sisterhood, historic scholarship, and impactful service to our community!  Although we are celebrating this monumental achievement, we know that there is still work to be done.  It is the endeavor of Alpha Mu Sigma chapter to not only serve the community, but to be of service in a way that's meaningful and beneficial to those impacted.

Our sorority's mission is to enhance the quality of life of women & children in the U.S. and globally through community service.  Since 1943, AMS has diligently honored this mission with love and compassion for the Winston-Salem community. We strive to provide stellar service that brings impact to our community and we take pride in giving back to the community through our service.

Our dedicated members contribute hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars annually to worthy parents and charities. We pride ourselves on having a diverse membership of women working and leading in various careers & community engagement! We invite you to learn more about us and welcome your inquiries about membership, partnering with our chapter, or giving to our charitable endeavors such as our Naomi Jones Scholarship. Thank you for visiting our site. We look forward to connecting with you!
